Mom’s Milk has more than anyone thought!

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

A recent study  discovered another ingredient in breastmilk that aids infants intestines to safely digest solid foods and beverages in the future.  This “pancreatic secretory trypsin inhibitor (PSTI)” is typically found in the pancreas. In a nutshell, it protects the pancreas from digestive enzymes, as well as, protects mucosal cells against damage and helps speed up their repair.  This study also found PSTI in breast-milk and colostrum (first milk mom’s produce after giving birth). Basically, the study found that PSTI helps prepare and protect a newborns intestines. Read more on this study titled: “Pancreatic Secretory Trypsin Inhibitor Is a Major Motogenic and Protective Factor in Human Breast Milk,” by Tania Marchbank, published in the April 2009 Issue of The American Journal of Physiology: Gastrointestinal & Liver Physiology.  Just another reason to give Nursing a go!

Babies-R-Us.com Welcomes Cuddoozle!

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

GREAT NEWS! Cuddoozle just signed Babies-R-Us.com to carry its Nursing Pillows and we could not be happier! We feel this is a perfect fit/location for our products to be represented (and visa verse). We truly wish to thank the entire Merchandising Team there for seeing the benefits of carrying the Cuddoozle Brand along side the many others they currently represent.  We look forward to all that lies ahead with this new venture. We are sure it will be a GREAT experience! So, let your friends, nurses and doctors know to check back soon at Babies-R-Us.com as you will be seeing Cuddoozle’s(TM) Patent-Pending “Original Memory Foam Nursing Pillow” on their site.

Just a quick note about our products (if you are new to Cuddoozle): Our Infant Nursing Pillows come “standard” with the included Multi-Purpose Mini Booster Pillow. This Mini Booster Pillow is actually the cut-away from the main Nursing Pillow form and thus, makes it an Eco-friendly re-use of what would have been scrap foam. This Mini Booster Pillow serves many purposes for the nursing mom as it: Reduces acid reflux, is looked at as a built-in/available height adjusting pillow when used in front or on the side under the pillow, as well as, it offers relief for the mom’s back/neck/shoulders depending where it is placed. This pillow is not an after thought, copy or an add-on item like a competitor of ours is soon to launch publicly.  It is actually a ”very important” part of the design and thus, how a mother experiences using our Infant Nursing Pillow.  One final note, EVERY Cuddoozle(TM) Pillow Product always come standard with its “Permanent Hygienic Inner Cover” (again, not an add-on/zip on feature that customers must buy). Our Inner Cover is actually part of our pending patent and makes our pillows: water, mold, mildew & dust-mite proof.  All these features have come standard to our products since their creation over four (4) years ago by its Creator, Interior Designer and proud Mother of two girls, Margaret L. Norcott (Alllied ASID).

We hope you and yours will enjoy our quality Maternity Pillow Products and continue to “Feed With Ease(TM)” ~ The Cuddoozle Team

I know we all might be use to seeing all the PINK out there but remember it is to remind us that as much as we see it and get use to all the products that boast the PINK, the many people who have Breast Cancer never get use to it. Let’s do what we can to help! For more information and to learn more about LIVING BEYOND BREAST CANCER call

Please read this great article, from my almamater, U of F, and how they detail the wonderful benefits that nursing has for later age moms having their first births. I was one of these moms. I had Amelia at age thirty-six (36) and then had Noella at thirty-nine (39) and turned forty (40) the following month.  I nursed both girls without hesitation and Noella until she was two years old.  I truly feel that nursing my daughters created a truly priceless bond I share with them, but I also hope that it has helped protect my health as well.  Read on and enjoy this article.
